About the This Is Fine meme
The This Is Fine meme template comes from the KC Green comic showing a dog calmly sitting in a room on fire, making it one of the internet’s most recognizable reaction memes for denial and quiet panic. People use This Is Fine to joke about stress, burnout, deadlines, bad news, and everyday disasters where you act like everything is under control. Common variations label the dog as "me" and the fire as work, school, relationships, or general chaos.
When to use this meme
Use this when you're overwhelmed, stressed, or watching a situation clearly spiral while pretending you're totally okay. It fits that painfully funny moment where the chaos is obvious to everyone, but your reaction is pure denial and forced calm.
